Well known for their Beethoven interpretations, including their recent five-disc recording project of the complete Beethoven symphonies, Vänskä and the Orchestra will once again present an all-Beethoven program, including the beautiful Piano Concerto No. 5, featuring Festival Artistic and Managing Director, Ned Kirk.

The Great River Shakespeare Festival, in partnership with the Winona County Historical Society,conservation partners and Visit Winona will host the first-ever Winona Legacy Weekend. Winona Legacy Weekend celebrates the arts, and the cultural, historic and outdoor heritage of Winona and its surrounding region, highlighting events and sites funded in whole or in part by Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment. WCHS’ museums, The Bunnell House, The Arches Museum of Pioneer Life and the Winona County History Center will be open for tours.
