Stained Glass Studio Tour
Cathedral Crafts or Willet Hauser Architectural Glass: Winona is known as the “Stained Glass Capital” of the country. At either of these studios, you will observe craftspeople design, paint, and assemble stained glass windows. (1 hour)


Watkins Headquarters and Museum/Store
Famous for its award winning vanilla and spices, this company dates back to 1868 when it purveyed the only health “remedies” that came with a moneyback guarantee. (45 minutes)


Winona County Historical Society
One of the largest county Historical Society Museums in Minnesota, it showcases artifacts of Winona and Winona County’s history including a stained glass window exhibit, and an award winning children’s exhibit. Museum shop and used book store on site. (45 minutes)


Polish Museum
Founded to preserve the rich Polish history of Winona, it houses Kashubian artifacts, family heirlooms, religious articles, folk art and more. Gift shop sells Polish items. (45 minutes)


Winona National Bank and Merchants Bank
Both buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and offer amazing architecture, and stained glass windows. Winona National Bank also displays a gun collection and African safari trophies of the bank’s original owners. (30 minutes each)

Step-on Guide Tour
The guide will explain Winona's history and take you by these sites: Levee Park/Mississippi River, Court House, Library, historic downtown area, East End shotgun houses, Windom Park, Winona State University, Lake Park (Veteran’s Memorial, Rose Garden, band shell) Sugar Loaf, Garvin Heights Overlook (a magnificent view of Winona and the Mississippi River and beyond. Julia Belle Swain Steamboat Cruise
One of a few authentic steamboats still operating on the Mississippi River, groups can choose to take a brunch cruise, dinner cruise, all day cruises. The Julia Belle Swain makes Winona it’s second home and offers cruises June through October. (2-3 Hours depending on cruise type)

Agri Tours
See herds of live animals and learn about lifestyles and products of each. (Bison, Elk, or Llama farms. 45-60 Minutes each)

Minnesota Marine Art Museum
