It’s time to celebrate Winona’s most loved attractions as chosen by YOU! The Annual 2025 Tourism Awards are divided into two categories: Hidden Gem and People’s Choice, each capturing a short list of nominees from our very, very long list of wonderful businesses and attractions in Winona.

The preliminary nomination process will continue through April 27, and five finalists will be announced on April 28. Voting on finalists will continue until May 8.

Winners will be announced at our always-entertaining Tourism Awards Night, which is scheduled for May 20, 2025. RSVPS for the event will open when the finalists are announced.

These nominations are designed with visitors in mind. People’s Choice features businesses and attractions that we know bring people to Winona. Hidden Gem spotlights newer attractions or some local favorites that may not bring a visitor to town, but are delightful discoveries just the same.

Here is how the nomination process works: There are two forms below, one for Hidden Gem and one for People’s Choice. There are 25 nominees in each category, and on each form, you will be able to select your five choices for finalists. Do not select more than five – your votes won’t be counted if you do.

When you complete one entry form, it will redirect you back to this page so you can complete the other.

PLEASE NOTE: You may only complete each form once. If you enter multiple times, either with the same email address or varying email addresses that identify you, all of your forms will be disqualified. If you enter an email address that doesn’t work, the form will be discarded. Unfortunately, every year several dozen votes are discarded when people don’t follow these rules. Make your vote count!
