A Fun Winter Winona Weekend

Escape to Winona, the Miami of Minnesota!

Yeah, we know what you’re thinking. It’s not that warm here. But it IS the warmest spot in Minnesota because year-round temps here are, on average, just a little bit warmer than anywhere else in the state. Also, if you look at a map of Florida and Minnesota, Winona is located roughly in the same area of the state as Miami is in Florida. And we have just as much beach shoreline seeing as we are on the Mississippi River. Yeah, it’s a reach, but we’re clinging to it. Haha. So anyway, if you are craving that extra few degrees or just a fun weekend vibe away from the grind, head to the southeast corner of the state – we are here waiting for you.

While you’re here, sample local fare, shop for unique gifts, and indulge your senses in art and live music – plus soak in the vibe of a beautiful river city that is easy to get to from everywhere.
