Winona Color Project

Winona Creative Laureate, Sarah Johnson, in partnership with the Fine Arts Commission (and sponsored by the Winona Foundation) began a project of original murals in 2019 that celebrate the creation of vibrant and welcoming spaces. Search #WinonaColorProject on social media channels to learn more and see additional pieces come to life.

The project has murals outside Home and Community Options, downtown on Third Street, the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, and on Franklin and 8th Streets.
