Voices From the Past Cemetery Walk 2025: Disasters!

About This Event
Community members portraying people from Winona County’s past bring local history to life! Each year this favorite autumn fundraiser event by the Winona County Historical Society offers a new theme that ties different stories together. The 2025 Voices from the Past will shed light on those who experienced floods and fires, storms and illness, and the resiliency of Winona County communities!
The Cemetery Walk is done at your own pace. Acting sites begin at 12:00 and end at 4:00 p.m. each day. Allow at least 90 minutes to see it all. Admission is taken at the gate and includes a map and more information about the people portrayed and Woodlawn Cemetery. If the weather is severe, the program will move to the Winona County History Center with the performances rotating in order on a stage to a seated audience.
There is also an accessible performance of the sites at the Winona County History Center to a seated audience on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. Admission is taken at the door. Space is limited so registration is encouraged to get a seat. Call 507-454-2723 ext. 0 to reserve a spot.
