This year the WSU International Series will feature an Anishinaabe Nation Builder, a 2019 UK LATIN winner, a 5-time McKnight Artist Fellow, the first Indian musician to be awarded both a Bush Fellowship, and one of the world’s premier santoor performers. The lineup will feature artists presenting various cultural influences including Anishinaabe, Ghana, China, North and South India, and Argentina. These Minnesota-based artists present fascinating approaches to musicianship, cultural exchange, and identity. The concerts are a mix of both performance and sharing.
All concerts are free and open to the public and run about 50 minutes. All are on Thursdays at 6pm in the DuFresne PAC Recital Hall.
