4th Annual Bringing Light into Darkness with Live Music: Inertia

September 19 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Inertia-Music-Winona-Minnesota-Live-Band

Join us for an evening of music, fun, food, learning and community connection as we explore mental health. This event is to raise awareness of the darkness that mental health and addiction can evoke but through darkness there is a light of hope that can build resiliency and recovery. The band Inertia will highlight the evening by playing under the tent from 5:00pm – 9:00pm with an intermission from 7:15-8:00. Senator Jeremy Miller, Winona Mayor Scott Sherman, and HVMHC Executive Director Erik Sievers highlight the speakers on the main stage from 7:15-8:00pm. Explore the resource fair, live interactive learning sessions, food trucks and more from 5:00-9:00pm. This is a free community event, and everyone is invited to join us!

Inertia plays covers of all the best 90’s and early 2000’s rock hits. There Bio says they play a wide variety of music from STP, White Stripes, NIN, Highly Suspect, Godsmack, Live, Manchester Orchestra, The Black Keys and many more to keep you on the dance floor.

You are encouraged to bring a chair, and blanket. The tent has sides that will be open, weather permitting.

The regularly scheduled Winona Transit Routes run until 6:15pm on Thursday nights.  This special route will run from 6:00pm – 9:30pm and is provided to the community free by HVMHC.
