SEHO PARK

PAINTINGS
On view: January 16 – February 29
Watkins Gallery, Watkins Hall, Winona State University
Professor Seho Park has taught art education, drawing, and two-dimensional design courses at Winona State University since 1988. His current show, Paintings, draws from work he made during his 2022-23 sabbatical. Professor Park attended an artist residency in Seoul, Korea for much of his sabbatical year and exhibited in Seoul several times while on leave from teaching.

The gallery is named after Paul Watkins. Watkins donated part of his private collection to WSU in the 1920s. The Watkins Gallery hosts five to six annual exhibitions by visiting artists. In addition, the Watkins Gallery also hosts a campus-wide juried student exhibition and several student exhibitions by graduating seniors in April and May.

The Watkins Gallery is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am – 4pm. On Wednesdays the gallery is open from 9am – 8pm.
