Artist Reception: “Landscapes Exposed”

Join me for a reception to celebrate my solo exhibition “Landscapes Exposed” in the Lillian Davis Hogan Gallery at St. Mary’s University in Winona, MN in the Student Center.
Light refreshments will be served and remarks at 2:00 p.m.
Featuring over 40 mixed-media paintings using photographs of pollinator-friendly plants and landscapes taken from the “bee’s perspective”. The paintings are created by embedding photographs printed on tissue paper in beeswax as collage. I developed this new body of work after researching how to support the pollinator/bee species in Minnesota.
