MMAM: Memories of Titanic

Explore art and objects associated with the loss and shipwreck of RMS Titanic. On view will be a young survivor’s riveting first-hand account of the disaster, including the loss of her father, in her diary and personal letters. Also included are paintings by American artist Colin Campbell Cooper from when he was aboard the rescue ship Carpathia, and a ship model, original telegrams, and more.

American Duchess Docking

The American Duchess will dock at Levee Park from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  There will be no public tours but the public is invited to welcome the passengers and get a close look at the steamboat. The American Duchess is the most elegant paddlewheeler on U.S. rivers, a floating, intimate masterpiece that can carry up to 166 guests through America’s heartland. The paddlewheeler, created from a 1995 hull, was completely reconstructed to become one of the most luxurious river cruising vessels…

Show Your Ride

This is an open house event meant to be FAMILY FRIENDLY and a great opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. There will be live music at 6pm and Woodfired Pizza from 5-9pm. All you have to do is rent a site for August 15th.

American Queen Docking

The American Queen steamboat will dock at Levee Park, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the majestic riverboat. Passengers will have the opportunity to tour various Winona attractions along a designated hop-on hop-off bus tour route, as well as enjoy the downtown area. The public is invited to come to Levee Park to see the one of the largest and most opulent steamboats ever built, offering modern amenities among Victorian era style accommodations.

History on the River Cruise: Lock and Dam Adventure

The History on the River series are educational cruises that celebrate our heritage. Join us out on the beautiful Mississippi River aboard either the Cal Fremling or Winona Tour Boat, both leaving from the Winona Levee. Cruises are on Thursday evenings June through September each year. Cruises are 90 minutes long with a program and sightseeing time. Light refreshments are included with each cruise. This popular topic explores the Mississippi River’s Lock and Dam system with an up-close look at 5A.
