Victorian Winona: Through the Lens of Charles Tenney

Charles Tenney (1847 – 1917) and his partners left a large collection of their photographs behind when they retired from their photography business in Winona in 1892. Many of these images are now the property of the Winona County Historical Society. These photographs include stereograms, which are double images used with a special viewer called a stereoscope to create a three-dimensional image and what are known cabinet prints, which are mounted on card stock. Printmaking Studio Exhibit

A unique exhibit featuring the work of printmaking artists ages of all levels who participated in a workshop for ages 55+ alongside teens from Riverway Learning Community. The community is invited to an open house, where they can meet and greet the artists and walk though Galleria Valencia on Tuesday November 19 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Manipulating fabric and fabric-like materials, quilt artists interpret water as one of the most vital, desired, powerful, sacred, and enjoyed resources on earth in H2Oh! Art Quilts. This exhibition features 34 unique pieces created by members of Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the art quilt.

Christmas Lighted Parade

The lighted parade route is located at 41st Avenue & 6th Street to 44th Avenue. The Goodview Activity Group invites all to attend. Enjoy the dazzling lights, Santa and Mrs. Claus and refreshments at Merchants Bank in Goodview. After the parade Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Elks Lodge to greet children. The Goodview Activity Group will also be giving away a boys bike and a girls bike. Bring monetary gifts or non-perishable food items.

Animals on Parade

Come and experience MCA’s emerging Dance Repertory Company II (DRC II) members in this dance showcase.
