MMAM: Memories of Titanic

Explore art and objects associated with the loss and shipwreck of RMS Titanic. On view will be a young survivor’s riveting first-hand account of the disaster, including the loss of her father, in her diary and personal letters. Also included are paintings by American artist Colin Campbell Cooper from when he was aboard the rescue ship Carpathia, and a ship model, original telegrams, and more.

Alash: Tuvan Throat Singing Group

Alash is a group of three talented young musicians from Tuva who bring their fascinating music and culture to delighted audiences worldwide. In addition to traditional Tuvan musical training, they have all received classical Western musical training. Their music is infused with subtle Western influences and yet remains true to its Tuvan heritage. Alash has a passion for educating future generations and for deepening the understanding between cultures. The musicians are Bady-Dorzhu Ondar, Ayan-ool Sam, and Ayan Shirizhik.

Wildflowers of the Upper Midwest

Wildflowers of the Upper Midwest is an exhibition drawn for a collection of over 150 watercolor paintings created by Lydia Curtis. She created these pictures between 1958 and 1973, finding specimens near her home in St. Paul and then later Morris, Minnesota.
