This is a special OFFSITE performance of The Servant of Two Masters. Ticket price includes buffet meal. Drinks not included. Dinner begins at 7:00 p.m., the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Carlo Goldoni’s eighteenth century Italian classic is as hilarious as ever in this brand new adaptation. Mixups, music, mayhem and a whole lot of fun ensue in an adaptation that showcases classic Commedia dell’Arte characters and lazzi with a modern twist.

Echoing the traveling theatre troupes of yore, the production will play on the Great River main stage as well as in found spaces throughout Winona.

Great River Shakespeare Festival: White Rabbit Red Rabbit

In White Rabbit Red Rabbit a single actor walks onstage, opens a sealed envelope and performs a play they’ve never seen or read before. Playwright Nassim Soleimanpour’s script is top secret but he is open about the fact that, confined to his native Iran for refusing to take part in mandatory military service, this play is his way of connecting with people across the world: Winona, Minnesota now included.
