Relax to the beat of Winona Drum Circle, grab a bite to eat and sip on your favorite drink downtown Winona.
The Winona Community Drum Circle is always open to new people we are a relaxed and welcoming group. There are always extra drums available. Instruction available (come early if possible). Also dancers and listeners are welcome.
We aim to be a collaborative, musical event that can put us in harmony with the flow of life while allowing us to maintain a grounded space. As we share our own unique rhythm and play along, it can be as much of an emotional release, as it can be a healing experience by standing outside the circle while tapping our feet or clapping along to rhythm.
As we share in this circle the spirit and magical rhythms expressed through the drum beats forms an invisible link within each of the people in the circle. Rhythm plays a role in the human consciousness as a way to connect with other people who you might not share same ideologies and physical attributes. Rhythm is a universal language/mother tongue that brings all of us into connection, and bring about changes in consciousness and emotions.
