Winter Seasonal Saturday 2023: From the Earth

Join the Minnesota Marine Art Museum on February 11 from 10am – 5pm, for the popular Seasonal Saturday event! Featuring $1 admission and special themed activities based on the theme, “From the Earth” inspired by MMAM’s special exhibition, “On the Surface: Flora Inspired Ceramics of Hitomi Hosono.”
Special Activities will Include:
– Artist demonstration by ceramist Lisa Truax [1-3:30pm].
– Live music from Bell House Band [11am-12pm].
– Live music from Mettalarks [3-4pm].
– Themed Tours [10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15, 2:15pm, 3:15pm, 4:15pm].
– Air-dry clay art-making activity for all ages and abilities [all day].
– Bingo Overboard [all day].
– Community Partner: Gundersen “All of Us: Research Program”
– Spanish and Hmong interpreters from Project FINE available from 10am-1pm
– Free transportation to and from the museum via Winona Public Transportation Dial-a-Ride.
