MMAM Photography Exhibition Featured on MPR’s Art Hounds

The MPR Art Hounds podcast featured a current photography exhibit at the MMAM.  Art Hounds are  “members of the Minnesota arts community who look beyond their own work to highlight what’s exciting in local art.” Wildlife and nature photographer Stan Takiela recommended a fellow professional nature photographer, Dudley Edmondson, “who has a passion for wild places.”  Edmonson’s photographs are shot outdoors and encompass landscapes and bodies of water. After all, he lives in Minnesota where there’s lots of water! He has an eye for capturing images that reveal nature at its best. Edmondson is also committed to getting people of color outdoors and encourages the BIPOC community to access public lands because “they belong to you.”

Edmondson’s photography is on view in person and online at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona through Jan. 2.
