Nosh named among 5 World-Class Farm-to-Table MN Restaurants

Explore Minnesota Tourism featured an article written by Andrew Zimmern,  a “three-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality, chef, food writer, and teacher.'” Zimmern  listed the Nosh Scratch Kitchen as one of his favorite farm-to-table restaurants. “There are a few spots across the state that do an especially great job working directly with farmers to source local ingredients.”

Winona’s Nosh Scratch Kitchen opened in 2020 in downtown Winona and “serves western Mediterranean influenced American cuisine…and loaves of bread are baked fresh daily on the premises as well as desserts and sausages.”  Their menu is updated daily on their facebook page.

Zimmern writes:  NOSH Scratch Kitchen offers elegant dining closely tied to nearby southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin farms. Seasonality informs chef Greg Jaworski’s menu, and nearly all proteins originate within two hours of the restaurant.”
