With the holidays approaching, one can easily get caught up in the bustle of shopping, planning, traveling and keeping all the social engagements scheduled. Museums are wonderful places to take time to engage with family and friends during the holiday season. Bring your family into the Winona County History Center for a fun trip down memory lane. The Museum Shop is open 7 days a week to find locally-made and designed wares. A membership to the Winona County Historical Society also makes a great gift! Stop in the History Center November 29-30 and December 1 to Shop Small Saturday and be a patron for Museum Shop Sunday. About the Museum

Located in historic downtown Winona, the Winona County History Center is made up of the old Armory (1915) and the award-winning contemporary Laird Norton Addition (2010), and houses three floors of exhibits, The Museum Shop, multiple programming and event spaces, the Laird Lucas Library and Archives and more!

Explore our past in interesting and fun exhibits, both permanent and traveling. Also, attend the many programs and events offered. Find your roots or delve into historical research in the Laird Lucas Library and Archives which is open weekdays 10 a.m. – Noon & 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
