Winona State University is opening a new ropes course in its Education Village, designed not just for college students but also for the community and WXOW News 19 was there for it. The course offers various obstacles with different difficulty levels and features an auto belay system. While primarily an educational tool, it also invites community engagement. Unlike other universities, where ropes courses are often off-campus, this one is centrally located to symbolize the university’s mission. The university will host free outdoor adventure open houses throughout the fall, starting on September 17th.
