Winona is celebrating the Annual 100 Miles of Christmas on December 3-4, sponsored by Mississippi Valley Partners, a collaboration of communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin along the Great River Road. This holiday event encourages people to witness the beauty and wonderment of the season, stroll through decorated downtowns, shop the small businesses, and spend time with family and friends at holiday performances.
In Winona, the Main Street Program invites you to enjoy the Holiday Window Walk, with a theme of “Monochromatic” where downtown stores and businesses will be decorated. While in the area, stop at Lake Lodge Recreation Center for some indoor family games, ice-skating or snowshoeing.
More things to do that weekend include the Artists Holiday Sale, Holiday Lighted Parade in Goodview, the Messiah Sing-In, and Trester Trolley Christmas Lights Tour. Go to www.visitwinona.com for more ideas.
