The Minnesota Beethoven Festival’s fourteenth season will again present a mix of new and returning internationally-renowned classical artists. The season opens on June 28, 2020 with the return of Anderson & Roe piano duo, and concludes on July 19, 2020 with violinist Joshua Bell. Other returning artists include The King’s Singers, Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Manhattan Chamber Players, and guitarist Pablo Sáinz Villegas, who will again perform two concerts at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. Pianist Benjamin Grosvenor, the Borodin String Quartet, and cellist Johannes Moser will make their Festival debuts.
“It is an honor and a privilege to present such amazing artists to the Winona community every year,” says Artistic & Managing Director Ned Kirk. “We are delighted to continue the Festival’s tradition of excellence as we celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday.”
Festival ticket packages will be available in April, and individual tickets for all other performances will go on sale in May. Flexible ticket packages will again be available, with patrons able to select six, seven, eight, or all nine concerts from the season and create a custom package. Before packages go on sale to the general public, current season subscribers will also have the opportunity to renew their subscription and to keep the same seats they purchased in 2019.
Further details about ticket package options and pricing will be announced in the coming months. Tickets and more information will be available at mnbeethovenfestival.org.
