2nd Saturday at MMAM: “A Longer Look: Slow Art Day”

See what you will discover when you take a longer look. Second Saturday is an exciting new program aimed at ensuring that there is something for everyone at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona. Running every second Saturday through October 2018, this monthly event will offer $1 admission, art-making activities, special-themed programs and guided tours every half hour. The theme of the next Second Saturday is “A Longer Look: Slow Art Day.” Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. On April 14 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, we encourage all visitors to slow down and take their time with the art. There will be MMAM highlight tours, kid’s tours, a longer look tour, a special Slow Art Challenge and music from cellist Rachael Ryan Dahlgren. For more information visit MMAM.org.
