Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) is ramping up for its 16th season. Plays this year are Macbeth, Cymbeline, The Servant of Two Masters, No Child… and White Rabbit Red Rabbit; additionally, the intern/apprentice company will present Love’s Labour’s Lost. Pay-What-You-WILL previews were introduced in 2018, and will be available again this season. This past fall, the festival moved to its new administrative office at 121 East Third Street, which is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This year, the festival is again working with Visit Winona who will graciously be hosting the GRSF ticketing office at the Winona Visitor Center, 924 Huff Street, beginning June 1. Visit http://grsf.org/box-office for more information.
New this year, GRSF will present some select performances of The Servant of Two Masters at breweries and restaurants throughout the region. Ticket prices include a meal! Visit http://grsf.org/servant to book your ticket to this unique event. There will also be limited presentations of White Rabbit Red Rabbit – an international theatrical sensation that is shrouded in mystery. Once an actor performs it once, they can never perform it again – and they won’t see the script until the night of the performance. Information about these shows, special events, and summer youth classes can all be found at http://grsf.org.
