KARE 11 touts Winona as a best place to see fall colors

In an October 2 feature, Twin Cities’ KARE 11 published an extensive feature calling for audience members to hop in the car and head to Winona.

“During mid-September through October, Winona is the place to be for seeing some of the most beautiful fall colors in the state.”

The “That’s So Minnesota Roadtrip: Winona” story includes mentions of favorite local spots including Bloedow Bakery, Garvin Heights, Sugar Loaf, Minnesota Marine Art Museum, Bub’s Brewery, Winona Tour Boat, Watkins Museum, Levee Park, downtown shops and eateries, local wineries and more.

We especially like this only-in-Winona shout-out: “You don’t have to travel to Paris to get delicious pastries and priceless art.”
