Bloedow Bakery is a staple in Winona and known around Minnesota as some of the best donuts in the area. Now, Washington D.C. is getting a taste.
U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar hosts “Minnesota Mornings” every week at her D.C. office, inviting all visiting Minnesotans to stop by and meet the staff. In a recent article in the Winona Daily News, Klobuchar explains why she is sharing these local pastries with Washington. “Locally owned shops and restaurants like Bloedow’s Bakery are a vital piece of our economy,” Klobuchar said. “I was happy to bring a taste of Winona to my guests here in Washington.”
