The City of Winona Parks and Recreation department put up a public ice skating rink at Levee Park. The rink is open now and will be shown off for the first time during the Winona Holiday Market on December 15.
The public can enjoy the rink admission free from dusk until 9:30pm, at which point the lights will shut off. “The park is lit up at night and decorated with holiday cheer,” says Patrick Menton from the Parks and Recreation department in their newsletter. There is no skate rentals on site, so be sure to bring your own with you. For more information or to check out one of the other seven free ice skating rinks in Winona, click here.
