MMAM Collection Addition

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum’s mission is to explore the historic ongoing human relationship with water through exhibitions and education. The MMAM works closely with our collecting partners to collect artworks for the Museum’s growing collections. These new works are unveiled to the public twice a year. Past unveilings have revealed works by Claude Monet, Paul Gauguin, Georgia O’Keeffe, Winslow Homer, Vincent van Gogh and perhaps most significantly, Emanuel Leutze’s Washington Crossing the Delaware, among many others. These works now hang permanently in the Museum.  The MMAM recently unveiled three new significant works by Pablo Picasso, Otto Dix, and James Audubon which were added to the collections. These works will add to the breadth and quality of the MMAM’s display of American and European masterworks. For more information, go to http://www.mmam.org
