New Family Holiday Event at Winona County History Center

Join us for a fun, new family-friendly event on Sunday, December 8 from 12 to 4 p.m., at the Winona County History Center. The Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival is filled with tons to do. Stop in to see Santa and get your photo with him if you wish. There will also be a variety of Christmas crafts to make, cookie decorating, favorite Christmas stories with area teachers, carolers, tree displays of Christmas ornament collections, a hot cocoa and coffee bar and more. Santa will bring some (new) vintage toys to play with in our children’s exhibits and help us find the elf hiding in the exhibits!

This event is a new addition to the Winona County Historical Society’s fundraiser events and admission is $5 for adults, $3 for youth, and $15 for families (up to 2 adults and 5 youth). Plus, stop in December 7-8 for the Winona Gift Shop Hop for a free gift with purchase and WCHS Members get 25% off their Museum Shop purchases all December.

The Old Fashioned Family Christmas Festival will be held on odd numbered years, opposite the famous Christmas House Tour, held on even numbered years. Mark your calendars for December 6, 2020 for the Christmas House Tour! Learn more and plan your visit at winonahistory.org or call 507-454-2723. Also find us on Facebook and Instagram.
