Snowmobile Champion Levi LaVallee Visits Winona

In the world of professional snowmobililing, few have a bigger name or more medals than Minnesota wunderkind Levi LaVallee. He has taken home 13 medals from Winter X Games throughout his career including 7 golds. He holds a world record for completing a 361 foot jump, besting the previous longest by over 60 feet!

In partnership with Visit Winona and the Explore Minnesota #ChillOutChallenge, LaVallee recently visited Winona, MN to partake in some winter fun and showed off his adventures in the island city via social media posts and an exciting new video.

While in Winona LaValllee ascended to the summit of our world class ice park with local adventure company, Big River Climbing Guides. On his YouTube channel LaVallee wrote, “When there are only 4 ice climbing parks in the US, it’s pretty dang cool that two are located in Minnesota! I had the opportunity partner with Explore Minnesota for the #ChillOutChallenge and was able to show how cool (not cold) Minnesota is! This was my first time ice climbing and I think it is something to add to your #bucketlist! Thank you to the city of Winona for welcoming me and my family! We had an awesome day – from eating donuts from “The Best Donut Shop in MN”, to attempting to ice skate, to ice climbing for the first time . . . this trip was one for the books.”
