The Winona County Historical Society’s History on the River educational cruises are back for another season. The cruises will board either the Cal Fremling or Winona Tour Boat this season, both leaving from the Winona levee. The 90 minute cruises are on Thursday evenings starting June 15 and run through the end of September, and include a program, refreshments, and sightseeing time. Tickets will be sold in advance at the History Center or by calling 507.454.2723 ext. 0 to charge by phone. Tickets will go on sale on May 8 for WCHS members and on May 12 at 9 a.m. for the general public. They are $27 for non-members and $22 for WCHS members. A special deal includes a choice of any 3 of the History on the River cruises for $75 for non-members or $60 for our members.
