The 7th annual Art of Fine Furniture exhibition is sure to delight once again. Showcasing the historic talents of fine furniture making, the pieces in each annual exhibit are handcrafted by regional artists and craftsmen and are testaments to age-old woodworking skills with artistry of design.
The exhibit will open at the Winona County History Center on Saturday, June 15 with a reception 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Meet the artists and enjoy a first look at the Art of Fine Furniture 2019. Explore the exhibition with the makers, enjoy refreshments and good company at the opening party for this favorite annual exhibit.
This year, the exhibit explores a closer look at the medium of wood and how the artists chose and worked with the many various types. In addition to the furniture, fine art prints by local artist and craftsman Zak Fellman will be on exhibit. Fellman’s work highlights the beauty of tree rings made from woodcuts.
