Winona Color Project Featured on MPR’s Art Hounds

The Winona Color Project, initiated by Winona Creative Laureate Sarah Johnson, was featured on Art Hounds, a Minnesota Public Radio podcast.  Art Hounds features “three people from the Minnesota arts community to talk about a performance, opening, or event they’re excited to see and think others should check out.”

Dave Casey, Assistant Curator of Education and Exhibits at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, was interviewed by MPR about Johnson’s project. The public art project focuses on creating “more vibrant, welcoming spaces” throughout the city of Winona. Pictured is a door Johnson painted at the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts.
