How do you get around Winona? Whether you walk, bike, drive, ride transit, use rideshare services, or rely on others for transportation, we want to hear about your experience.

Visit Winona has partnered with the Winona State University Recreation, Tourism & Therapeutic Recreation (RTTR) Department for the Winona Transportation Survey, designed to gather feedback from residents, workers, students, and visitors about how people travel throughout our community. Your input will help identify transportation challenges, highlight opportunities for improvement, and guide future planning efforts that support safe, accessible, and convenient transportation options for everyone.

The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, and all responses will help local partners better understand current transportation needs and priorities in Winona.

Winona Transportation Survey FAQ’s

How much time will this take?
Participation will require approximately 5 minutes.

When is the data collection period?
The survey will be available June 1-October 31, 2026.

Are there any benefits for participating?
Upon completion of the survey, you will have a chance to enter a raffle for one of two $25 Amazon gift cards each month during the data collection period. Additionally, there will be a Winona Grand Prize Package winner at the end of the research project which includes:

  • 1 Night Stay at Hotel 44 North in Downtown Winona
  • $50 Gift Certificate to The Old Tiger restaurant
  • $50 Gift Certificate to Lakeview Drive Inn
  • $25 Gift Certificate to Bloedow Bakery
