The second edition of Visit Winona’s coloring book is printed and for sale at several local businesses and was recently featured on News 8000. The book features local artists, members of the River Arts Alliance, who created the book’s artwork. It is a collection of drawings of a variety of local Winona businesses and attractions and includes the MN Marine Art Museum, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Garvin Heights Vineyard, the Winona Axe and Arcade and more. The coloring book provided artist Julia Crozier with an opportunity to be a part of fun and creative project because “we took different aspects of those entities and sort of put them together in a fun way,” said Crozier.
“We decided especially post COVID the need was still there. People still wanted to connect with businesses and art in a really accessible way like coloring,” said Kate Carlson, Visit Winona Partnership Director.
