Mid West Music Fest will be held on April 16 in La Crosse and April 28-30 in Winona. This is the seventh year for the festival aimed at bringing music and community together. This year the festival features over one-hundred musical acts, workshops, and films across multiple venues in downtown Winona and La Crosse, bringing the best in up-and-coming musicians from around Upper Midwest and beyond. Twin Cities based Minnesota Public Radio station 89.3, The Current, will be recording from Mid West Music Fest this year along with pioneering online music archive Daytrotter. Mid West Music Fest’s format of multiple venues and acts allows fest goers the opportunity to be exposed to scores of new music while being able to experience your old favorites.
