Free Sugar Loaf Climbing

FREE sugar loaf rock climbing! We are so excited to be starting our open events again! Every Tuesday through the fall from 4-sunset we’ll be at the sugar loaf with all equipment and instruction from nationally certified climbing instructors with wilderness first responder certifications. This is open to everyone.

Fireside Chats at Prairie Island

Join the Winona Outdoor Collaborative team, Prairie Island Campground, and a guest speaker on the 4th Wednesday of each month this summer for a campfire, a conversation about an outdoor topic, and s’mores! Meet at the Prairie Island Campground Garden Patio at 7 PM.  Dave Casey will be talking about the intersection of art & nature.

Winona Municipal Band Concert

Enjoy the beauty of Lake Park while listening to an outdoor band concert each Wednesday evening by East Lake Winona. “America” Steamboat Docking

The America will be docked at Levee Park and the public is welcome to come and view the boat but not allowed on board for public visits. Launched in 2016, America is one of the finest paddlewheeler ever built, introducing features never before seen on the Mississippi.   America embodies a casual ambiance and relaxed atmosphere while providing panoramic views of the passing scenery. With only 185 guests, fellow guests will quickly become new friends.

Goodview Farmers’ Market

Dine Out Downtown

Every Friday from May 21st to September 24th 3rd Street will be shut down between Center Street and Walnut Street from 4-10 p.m. to allow for expanded outdoor eating and drinks, as well as activities and events! Stop by each week (or as much as you’re able) and enjoy our lovely downtown atmosphere with some food and drinks, live music, fun activities and events, and great retail shopping!

American Duchess Docking

The American Duchess will be docked at Levee Park on July 31 and the public is invited to come to the riverfront to view the boat but no tours of the boat are available. Kashubian Festival: Smigus Dyngus Day

Outdoor Performance: “Thirty-Three Little Pigs”
