Milana has played at Midwest Music Fest, Big Turn Music Festival, monthly coffee houses, open mics and has soothed crowds at area nursing and assisted living homes through the magic of music.

Legends and Folklore of Winter

Author Chad Lewis will virtually visit the Winona Public Library on Saturday, January 9th at 10AM to discuss how winter may seem like a quiet time, but it is actually filled with bizarre tales and stories of cannibalistic spirits, Krampus the anti-Santa Claus, stories of little people, werewolves, witches, people being buried alive, and numerous other Holiday traditions for the darkest days of the year. Virtual Live@the Levee Event

This is a community-building event. The spaces are set up to meet and chat with friends, to mingle with those you may not have been able to greet and spend time with safely. Art Exhibit: Nicole Havekost: Chthonic

Artist Niki Havekost will speak about her artistic practice with the Winona State community over Zoom. This event is in conjunction with Havekost’s solo exhibition, Chthonic, at the Minneapolis institute of art. In her work, Havekost explores the simultaneous joy, sublime embarrassment, and disorderly beauty of the human body through her anthropomorphic, large-scale felt sculptures.
