With Winona’s Great River Shakespeare Festival and Minnesota Beethoven Festival shifting into high gear in the month of July, Rochester Minnesota’s Post Bulletin has taken notice of the little river city with big time entertainment.
Reporter Tom Weber writes, “If you’re into high culture, the place to be for the next month is Winona.” He goes on to say, “Both the Minnesota Beethoven Festival and the Great River Shakespeare Festival open this weekend and continue through July. These festivals offer a chance to see world-class artists in comfortable settings here in southeastern Minnesota.”
