LaCrosse TV Station News 8000 featured the Kashubian Capital Centennial 2021. The 2020 Festival was canceled due to COVID-19 but much of the same events are planned for this year and include Smigus Dyngus Day, March of the Pomeranians, River Boat Tours, Jeny Kochany, Bay State Bake -Off and Winona’s Soup ‘ORama. The purpose of the Festival is to engage the community in a deeper understanding of the Polish Kashubian immigrants and celebrate Winona’s Polish roots. The public is encouraged to attend this special family fun events.
