River City Rough Riders Football Game

The River City Rough Riders are a semi-professional football team, founded in 2003 in Winona, MN. At that time, they were called the Mississippi Rivermen under the guidance of Paul Anderson. The name was changed to the Rough Riders during the 2005-06 season. They moved to La Crosse, WI from 2016 until 2023. In 2024 Winona, MN (Paul Giel Field) will again be their home.

They are currently playing in the Northern Lights Football League. In a three year span, they have accomplished 2 league championships, 1 league runner up, and 2 trips to Florida to play in National Championship games. In 2023, they accomplished their first ever National Championship. The start of the 2024 season starts in April, and are ranked 8th in the nation.
