Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts featured in Inspire(d)

Inspire(d) magazine covers stories on optimistic and inspiring people and places in the Driftless region who “do good things.” The Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts made their list of “What We’re Loving”  in its Spring issue. The MCA aims to “inspire, educate and nurture students.” It was highlighted because of the variety of classes it offers to the public such as classes for caregivers, adaptive dance classes for Home and Community Options clients, and badge workshops for local girl scouts. In 2020 it offered virtual programming that reached to rural areas, providing opportunities and experiences that may not have otherwise been available to rural residents. Programs included Playful Postcards, Musical and Crafting Storytime, and the creation of a community quilt. It noted how well MCA partners with organizations in a effort to make an impact and “fosters arts skills and creativity.”
