First, why are we the Miami of Minnesota, you ask? Well, we are located on the border of Minnesota exactly where Miami sits in Florida, we are on record as the warmest city in Minnesota, and we have miles and miles of sand beaches here on the beautiful Mississippi River. Not enough? Okay, we also have a sense of humor here and joking about it is funny.

But all kidding aside, we are the perfect weekend getaway, especially with bicycles because Winona is designated a Bike Friendly City with scenic beauty so jaw-dropping that explorers have been writing home about us for 200 years. Trails snake for over 100 miles through our dramatic bluffs, country roads and city parks. It is biking paradise.
