Theatre du Mississippi presents Endwaters

What are you willing to fight for, and how long are you willing to stand up and fight? These are the root questions in Scott Dixon’s new, original play, Endwaters, commissioned by Theatre du Mississippi and presented at the Masonic Theatre Oct. 20-22.
Set in an undetermined time in the future, the city of Winona is facing a number of environmental and economic crises. One savvy developer has plans to make Winona a “Great River City” again, with the help of some political cronies. The leading voice in the protest group faces political backlash, the loss of a job, and threats against herself and those around her. How long can she continue to fight? How long can she afford NOT to?
Using all local talent, Theatre du Mississippi brings to the community a tale that is important and personal and will leave the audience thinking.
