Day 1:
- Start your day off w/ the sun at Great River Bluffs State Park. King’s Bluff is a short, easy hike with a beautiful sunrise view!
- Swing into town for breakfast at Blooming Grounds Coffee House & try their assortment of #OnlyinMN “bars” – not quite a cookie, not quite a cake, but quite delicious
- Go canoe-dling out on the back-channels with Basecamp Provisions out of Winona Outdoor Collaborative (they also do guided rock climbing & low-cost gear rental for making the outdoors more accessible!)
- Swing by Beno’s Deli for a fast, fresh, & filling lunch sammy
- Spend your afternoon with a leisurely stroll around town, wander along the Mississippi River, & def get a drink from Island City Brewing Company
- Treat yoself to dinner w/ a view Signatures Restaurant – that ravioli was 🤌🏼
Day 2:
- When in MN you *have* to get donuts from the famous Bloedow Bakery! 10/10 recommend the maple log
- Be sure to wait 30 min. after eating before swimming, but you can’t miss checking out the Lodge on Lake Winona – they have all the gear you’ll need to have a super fun lake day at super low costs! Pick from: paddleboards, kayaks, pedal boats, hammocks, longboards, disc golf, bikes, & more!
- After your day in the sun, grab dinner downtown but rest up cause…
- You can’t miss ending your trip with a sunset hike up to Sugar Loaf Bluff. That glowing orange light really makes Winona look glorious!
