New Exhibit and Artist Interaction Opportunities at MMAM

On display through May 24, 2020 at the Minnesota Marine Art Museum in Winona is Gregory Euclide: Observation Infiltration. Euclide’s unique works explore landscape, water, and the collision of nature and mankind. He uses a variety of found objects, both natural and artificial, to explore humankind’s impact on the natural world.

There are two opportunities to interact with the artist in March. On Friday, March 20, from 6 to 7 p.m., Euclide will lead an artist demonstration where attendees can watch him make a painting live, in person using a variety of techniques. The following morning, on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to noon, Euclide will lead a Gallery Walk & Talk where participants will join the artist in the galleries as he will answer questions and share stories behind his work.

Both events are free through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council.
