Expedition Kristen loves visiting Winona and especially in the Fall. She was interviewed on Fox9 Good Day about 5 Great MN Fall Road Trips and she said that Winona was one of the “best places to visit in southern MN!” She’s a hiker and the Sugarloaf Bluff is her favorite spot to go hiking despite its climb. The view, however, is worth the effort. She also suggested stops at the Island City Brewing Company and the Minnesota Marine Art Museum. At MMAM you will see art inspired by water with works by Monet and Van Gogh. She was blown away by Winona’s hidden gem, Cafe Sapori di Sicilia , featuring a “little taste of Italy.” “The Fall season is a fantastic time to explore part of Minnesota you may not have visited before.”
